I was enlightened to hear her say that most of her journeys transform into a future collection; nature photos become prints, an architectural design becomes a handbag, and a vegetable market a color palette. From that moment, she wasn't just one of my favorite designers, she became an idol, not for her talent, but because of her passion. She taught me to not only appreciate the beauty in life, but to apply it.
